Flower crowns have been on the decline for a few years now, but girls who can’t resist a few blooms have a brand-new set of hairspo courtesy of Diane Kruger, Anna Ewers, Georgia May Jagger, and Candice Swanepoel. All four walked the red carpet sporting their own infinitely cooler twist on the tired trend. Kruger tucked a few sprigs of lily of the valley behind her ear, which contrasted nicely with her orangey-red Bite Beauty lipstick in Fraise (applied sans makeup artist according to our sources) and Chanel nail polish in Coquelicot. Traditionally seen in Chinese art and geisha headdresses, lilies of the valley represent sweetness and happiness. Ewers opted for flora, too, albeit with a slicked-back bun and a dramatic spray of sparkly blossoms. Jagger pinned a cascade of sapphire petals down one side, and Swanepoel went for a classic look, twisting a single white gardenia at the base of her chignon. Aside from adding a glamorous touch of spring, we’d guess the flowers’ natural fragrance was a nice bonus. Who needs perfume when you have real-life blooms grazing your neck?
