Bahraini designers Sheikha Noor and Sheikha Haya Al Khalifa of luxury fashion brand Noon by Noor have collaborated with BySymphony to create a kaftan collection for Ramadan 2017. It will be unveiled at the Dubai store’s annual Ramadan “Tasyourah” event from April 25-29. Also taking part in the special collections event are Antonio Berardi, Amal Al Mulla, Faissal El Malak, Osman, Mother of Pearl, and Bouguessa.

The line-up features embellished kaftans in muted tones of blush, stone grey, and soft cream. Showcasing a natural sartorial evolution from their Fall 2017 collection shown at New York Fashion Week, the Noon By Noor designers remarked that its wintry approach infused “masculine shapes and feminine silhouettes combined to achieve sophistication.” Here we see a softening of the duo’s design mantra and an emphasis on what they do best: understated elegance.

Broken ice is emulated in the frostings of embellishments seen across necklines and sleeves.
