Imaan Hammam’s Best Runway Walks So Far

Age of 13, Vogue Arabia’s April cover star, Imaan Hammam, was scouted in her hometown by an agent at Amsterdam’s Central Station. Four years later, she made her catwalk debut at Jean Paul Gaultier’s Fall 2013 Couture show. Not only was it her first major runway turn, she also captured the attention of the then Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci, who chose her to open the French brand’s Spring 2014 show at Paris Fashion Week. At the Fall 2014 collections, she walked for more than 20 shows, and made history by becoming the first model of Moroccan-Egyptian descent to walk in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show that took place in London. Now at 21, she has become a mega model and runway fixture at Prada, Chanel, Versace, and Fendi, to name a few. Radiant in her aesthetic and personality, she has also appeared in campaigns for DKNY, Tiffany & Co., and Céline. In the gallery above, Vogue Arabia tracks Imaan Hammam’s best runway moments from recent seasons.
