Imaan Hammam is the second cover girl for Vogue Arabia

Following in the footsteps of debut Vogue Arabia cover girl, Gigi Hadid, Imaan Hammam is the second face of the newly launched magazine. The cover was photographed by Patrick Demarchelier. Entitled “I’ve Got the Power,” the second edition begins with an impactful letter from editor-in-chief, Deena Aljuhani Abdulaziz: “Women, power, and the Middle East – the dynamic between the three is consistently mischaracterized by the rest of the world. It’s a simple synergy, really – as Arab women, we are undeniably strong.”

The April issue includes fashion shoots with runway favorite Nora Attal, cover girl Imaan Hammam, and a feature story on the first hijab-wearing model to grace the international runways, Halima Aden. Artist Manal AlDowayan, late architect and pioneer Zaha Hadid, and regional war reporters are spotlighted in the edition, offering a broad spectrum of powerful women across the region and on the global stage.
