This year, Chanel is celebrating its founder, Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel – better known by her nickname, Coco – by releasing a new Gabrielle handbag. For the campaign, Chanel released a short film by Japanese director Shishi Yamazaki, who used rotoscoping to transform Cara Delevingne into an animated skater girl who comes across the Gabrielle bags hanging on a tree branch. The supermodel then skates through the fantasy world with her new Gabrielle bag by her side.

Chanel is also releasing three more films, starring Pharrell Williams, Caroline de Maigret and Kristen Stewart, all promoting the Gabrielle bag campaign. Stay tuned for more.
