The puffer jacket made waves on the street style circuit and catwalks in 2016 and the trend is showing no signs of deflating anytime soon. However, the functional outerwear piece gets updated this winter with a metallic finish as seen sported by Bella Hadid in New York City. The 20-year-old model took cover in silver throwback to the ‘90s puffer jacket by Tommy Hilfiger. Paired with a black sports bra and track pants, she completed her model off-duty sporty look with black Jordan sneakers, which elevated her athleisure vibe.

In a similar move, Kendall Jenner also stepped out in the Big Apple wearing a Ports 1961 metallic gold puffer jacket. Jenner took an edgier approach to styling the supersized topper by teaming it up with leather skinny pants, a cropped grey sweater, and patent leather, chunky-heeled lace-up boots. In lieu of her signature choker she broke up her outfit with a silk scarf by Chanel, which gave her look a ‘70s nod.
