Bulgari and Meraas cut the ribbon on their debut Middle Eastern chocolate store Il Cioccolato in January 2017, opening its doors to artisanal confectionery fans in the region. Located at City Walk in the Boutique Le Chocolat, the new store offers up premium chocolate miniatures with decadent finishes, primed for gifting. Featuring Sicilian pistachio, Mediterranean saffron, coffee, and spices, each delicacy is designed like a piece of edible art.

Parallels are easily drawn between the fashion house’s jewelry collections and decorative, often gold leaf topped bites that are housed underneath the store’s Murano chandelier. To mark the Dubai opening, the master chocolatiers have created a limited edition Bulgari chocolate, laden with dates and pistachios. Consider it the haute couture go-to for chocolate.
