10 Best Beauty Instagrams: The Halloween Edition

Halloween isn’t until Monday, but fashion’s favorite A-listers have been celebrating all weekend. When it came to their costumes, celebrities pulled out all the stops: fake blood, prosthetics, wigs, and tubes of Manic Panic were only a few of the essentials required to dream up some of the most creative and memorable costumes we’ve seen so far. Katy Perry hired a professional makeover team to transform her into US presidential candidate Hilary Clinton. Elsewhere, Cindy Crawford—along with her husband and children—opted for punk-themed costumes complete with rainbow wigs, studded belts, and plenty of black eyeliner. Our favorite costume (so far) goes to Vogue Japan Fashion Editor, Giovanna Engelbert, who dressed up as Cher at the Oscars circa 1986, while her husband, Oscar, covered himself in gold to channel—an Oscar. Best couple costume ever? We think so.

Giovanna Engelbert dresses as Cher at the Oscars 30 years ago, hand-in-hand with her husband Oscar, appropriately dressed as an Oscar award.

Lily Aldridge channels Audrey Hepburn’s character Holly Golightly from Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

Cindy Crawford, along with her husband and children, dresses up as a punk for her star-studded annual Halloween party.

Shortly after being chosen to wear the multi-million dollar Fantasy Bra for the 2016 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, Jasmine Tookes celebrates Halloween as a modern-day Princess Jasmine.

Romee Strijd opts for ice-blue contacts; onyx lipstick; and thick, wraparound anthracite eyeshadow against a backdrop of alabaster skin for a spooky, gothic look.

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend dress their 6-month-old baby daughter, Luna, in a number of adorable costumes that include a hot dog, banana, peacock, and Minnie Mouse.

Emma Roberts opts to have her face painted into a detailed skull for Kate Hudson’s annual Halloween costume party.

Also at Kate Hudson’s party: Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom. The singer uses prosthetics to transform herself into Hilary Clinton, while Bloom channels her husband, Bill Clinton.

Zoë Kravitz uses her freshly dyed platinum locks to channel Princess Peach from Mario.

Nicole Richie rakes her blond lengths back for her epic Siegfried and Roy group costume.
