Chanel has unveiled a new Rouge Coco Gloss commercial, starring Lily-Rose Depp. This is her third campaign for the French house. Sporting red, glossy lips, the budding actress is surrounded by vibrant, sleek tubes of the new formula, which were developed in collaboration with Lucia Pica, Chanel’s global creative makeup and color designer. The celebrity offspring took to Instagram to share a behind-the-scenes photo from the campaign shoot––which was shot by renowned photographer Mario Testino––captioned: “Love you and my Chanel family.”

The teenage ambassador landed her first role with Chanel when she was only 16 years old, starring in the Pearl eyewear ads. Depp is also the face of the Chanel No.5 L’eau fragrance. Before landing an official position with the house, the model was a mainstay on the Chanel front row. After several years of sitting on the sidelines, the 17-year-old ultimately made her runway debut at the recent Chanel Métiers d’Art show at the Ritz Paris. She added to her growing Chanel CV by closing the Spring 2017 Haute Couture show in a tiered pink gown, arm-in-arm with Lagerfeld.

Depp first met Lagerfeld at the age of eight through her mother, Vanessa Paradis, who is a long-time Chanel model and muse. Lagerfeld personally selected the 17-year-old to be a brand ambassador, stating: “Lily-Rose is stunning; she’s a young girl from a new generation with all the qualities of a star.”

Will a makeup collaboration be next? By the looks of her sharp cat-eye in the commercial (below), we certainly hope so.
