HF Boutique Infuses Modern Designs With Old-World Charm for Ramadan

Emirati designer Hessa Al Falasi admits to being influenced by a mix of old-world charm and contemporary sophistication, an aesthetic that is strongly reflected in her brand’s abayas. Established in 2011, HF Boutique is known for producing graceful, flowing designs; for its Ramadan/Eid 2015 collection, the Dubai-based label has kept “modernity inspired by Arabic tradition” in its abayas. The designs infuse the elegance of Art Deco; by using print and embroidery, the geometric patterns, inspired by the 1920s’ architecture and interiors, add another dimension to the abayas. A soft color palette of gray, pink, peach, and white adds a summer appeal to the black overlay while beading and embellishment with natural stones top off the creations for a more formal look.

Shop the Ramadan/Eid 2015 collection at Ush Boutique in Dubai and at Maison Bo-M in Riyadh.
