Anna Ewers, Hollie May Saker, and Sasha Luss Are Moschino’s Barbie Girls

Welcome to the dollhouse, indeed. Jeremy Scott took a cue from none other than Barbie for the designer’s Spring 2015 collection for Moschino—but knowing Scott, this isn’t the same doll you remember playing with as a child. He gave the classic Mattel toy a glamorous update with hot pink miniskirts, itty-bitty fuchsia jackets, and Moschino logo matching sets. Between the clothing itself and the smiling crop of tanned, blond (and, in the case of Charlotte Free, roller-skating) models, the result was a feel-good vibe nobody in the audience wanted to forget. Luckily for Scott’s ever-expanding fan club, he’s sticking with the same cheery theme for the new Moschino ad campaign.

Shot by Steven Meisel, the Spring 2015 campaign stars a trio of models-of-the-moment: Anna Ewers, Hollie May Saker, and Sasha Luss, each showing off the collection of playful, tongue-in-cheek pieces. The only difference here is that instead of the bubblegum pink color palette, Meisel chose to shoot the images in black-and-white. It’s a stark departure from the bold cutesyness of the collection itself, but if you ask us, there’s no better cure for the winter blues. See the entire campaign in the slideshow above.
