The 2016 Met Gala red carpet can easily pass as the fashion industry’s version of the Oscars where A-listers in attendance stopped, posed, and climbed the steep staircase in an array of glamorous yet innovative fashion designs that embraced the “Manus X Machina” theme.

With stars dressed in creations by fashion designers from across the globe, two celebrities were photographed in pieces by Arab designers at the 2016 Met Gala. Hannah Davis arrived wearing a 3D floral embroidered, mint green haute couture gown by Zuhair Murad. The Sports Illustrated model paired her gown—plucked from the Lebanese designer’s Spring 2016 Couture collection—with metallic Stuart Weitzman sandals and Van Cleef & Arpels diamond earrings. Meanwhile, TV personality La La Anthony donned a plunging, red and black, crystal-embellished gown that featured a gravity-defying capelet signed Nicolas Jebran.
