Maya Diab and Najwa Karam’s Hair Stylist Hosts a Master Class With The Real Fouz in Kuwait

Tony Sawaya is a Beirut-based hairstylist with a serious celebrity following. When he’s not at his flagship salon at Dunes in Verdun, Beirut, he can be found teasing the tresses of some of Arabia’s biggest stars.

He is the man behind the hairstyles of Lebanese Singer Najwa Karam for Arabs Got Talent and Ahlam Al Shamsi for Arab Idol and has coiffed countless editorial and cover shoots for stars like Maya Diab.

Currently in Muscat, Oman, the in-demand hair guru will soon make his way to Kuwait where he will present a hair master class on March 24th and 25th. Tony Sawaya is being hosted by Rola’s Beauty Lounge at the Holiday Inn and will give hair enthusiasts some of his best hair tips and tricks. With Kuwaiti beauty and blogger Fouz AlFahad aka The Real Fouz on-site to serve as his hair model, this is one event to add to your calendar.

Having met and had my locks tended to by Tony Sawaya on a trip to Beirut, I can tell you that he is the king of volume. Even if you have fine and limp hair, he won’t let you leave the salon without a full-on mane—just remember to hold your breath when he is armed with a can of hairspray. Book a color overhaul then a blowdry and it will look like you’ve just stepped out of the salon for days.
